Dan Almog
Nature & Wildlife photographer
My Story
Hi everyone! My name is Dan Almog, and I’m a wildlife photographer. My journey with photography began when I was just 10 years old, and I quickly became fascinated by the magic of freezing a single moment in time. I loved the idea that a photo could capture not only what we see, but also what we feel — the emotion, the atmosphere, and the story behind it.

After visiting Australia, a country full of breathtaking wildlife, I completely fell in love with nature and animal photography. Seeing kangaroos, koalas, and colorful birds up close opened my eyes to how diverse and beautiful our planet really is. From that point on, I knew I wanted to dedicate myself to capturing the beauty of wildlife and sharing it with the world.

Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours learning, practicing, and improving my photography skills — from understanding light and composition to studying animal behavior. At age 12, I finally bought my first camera and lens, which felt like a dream come true. That camera became my window to nature — and every time I went out shooting, I discovered something new, whether it was a bird in flight, a quiet moment by a lake, or a wild animal hiding in the forest.

Now that I’m 13 years old, wildlife photography has become much more than a hobby. It’s my passion, my way of expressing creativity, and my connection to nature. I believe that photography is not only about taking beautiful images, but also about telling stories — stories about the animals we share our planet with, and the importance of protecting them. Each photo has a message, and I want my photos to inspire people to care more about wildlife and the environment.

Today, I continue to explore new locations, challenge myself with every shot, and dream of photographing wildlife all around the world — from the jungles of South America to the savannas of Africa. For me, a photo with a strong story is much more powerful than one with perfect technical quality.
So, let’s go on this adventure together — to discover nature, tell its stories, and capture amazing wildlife moments through our lenses!
